I published an essay in Brevity
The essay I published in Brevity is about a song by Joni Mitchell called “Carey.” It’s on an obscure album of hers called Blue.

Joni Mitchell is really interesting. She’s super-obscure today, but at the time she released albums like Blue she was famous, popular, etc. If you look up old concert footage, there are people at her shows, but no one even knows about her now.
Anyway. It felt good to get the word out about her work.
