Turtle!

I wrote a short story called “Jeff Got a Turtle!”

I started it last month and today I may have finished it.

I printed it out and will read it soon, to see if it looks done to me. If it’s not done I’ll continue working on it.

It’s about a neighbor who buys an enormous tortoise and keeps it on his lawn, behind a fence. The turtle eats small mammals and grows every time it eats one. It menaces the narrator and causes problems.

It feels good to finish something, even when that thing is about a tortoise.
